Re: the Costco dresses: ARGH. Strapless, strapless, strapless, one-shoulder, strapless, mostly poufy skirts...I shop at Costco and have have clothing I love that I got there. But combine the typical Costco customer's build with the lack of custom tailoring, and this is NOT the right set of styles for those brides.
Not that anyone appointed me style arbiter for the nation's bargain hunters. I'll just have to watch What Not To Wear and grumble.

Cut the froufrou on the sash, and I ADORE it. It would be flattering to a variety of sizes and heights, too. What a great find.

Hmmm-- to me, the froufrou on the sash was what 'made" the dress. That being said, I agree that the style is classic enough for anyone, and I love the all-lace look.
