At the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values national conference, Bro Paul Adams, Ph.D., of the University of Arkansas received the 2016 Wilford A. Butler Alumnus Award for his work in mentoring and supporting the Greeks of all councils at his university.
Bro. Adams is a tenured Associate Professor of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology at UARK. A Biophysical Chemist by training, his sponsored research is centered on Protein Biochemistry and Cancer. He did his undergraduate work in Chemistry at LSU, where he pledged Omega Psi Phi (Theta Kappa Chapter), and he completed his doctoral studies at Case Western Reserve University and a postdoc at Cornell.
He serves as the Undergraduate Advisor for the UARK Omega Psi Phi Chapter (Gamma Eta). On the international level of Omega Psi Phi he serves on the Undergraduate advisors committee and is the Chair of the International Advanced Degree Committee.
