Southeastern Louisiana State University AKA Chapter Deactivated
According to court documents, SLU student Ariel Ellis accused the seven of locking her in a room in January, making her take her clothes off, beating her with a belt and a paddle, asking questions about her sex life and forcing her to simulate oral sex with a banana.

Why would you want to do that to someone? Dang, make them clean your house before you do that mess. (Joking of course ) But for real why did the one girl only get false imprisonment and simple battery but no hazing?

Are you questioning whether or not she was really "made" to do so?

Kinda.... I'm sure she felt like she had no choice, but I think maybe the word I'd rather see is compelled.

Well, you'd be hard pressed to find "compelled" used in hazing allegations.
If these people didn't feel "forced" to do what they did, through threat or coercion, they wouldn't come forward and sue. Would they? Or maybe they would if they later regret their CHOICE. Ah...this hazing stuff is complex...blech...then we get into the different levels of "make" and whether certain threats should really be threatening.
This is the song that never ends.....

Never mind....my brain is not working today. Maybe the girl was another non-initiated woman who got into the fray. She wasn't hazing because she wasn't a sister? Just conjecture.
