University of Maryland Kappas

Hi! I am an alumnae of Kappa from the University of Maryland and I couldn't believe it when I heard they closed the chapter. I haven't been involved with any alumnae groups and know it's been shut down for years but now my neice is off to UM in the fall and am so sad that she can't be a Kappa. I'd like to know what happened and see if I can help them get their charter back. Can anyone tell me anything? I understand Theta is living in our house and I can't believe that either! I want to get involved -- I'm probably too old but really want to help. Thank you.
