When you get to the extension presentation phase, other elements come into play. We usually have a reception the night before for area alumnae. Sometimes it's on campus and other times it's at a restaurant. We let them know about tentative timelines, if selected, and collect thier volunteer forms for those who hadn't already submitted.
When it comes to the actual presentation day, it really depends on the school. Sometimes, they have limits on what you can and cannot do. Sometimes they also put limits on how many people you can have. For example, one school may only allow 10 representatives (collegians and alumnae) per group. Another school may not specify a number so group A shows up with 10 people but group B rolls in with 50!
The presentation itself can be a mixture a speeches, video and powerpoint. Sometimes there are table displays. It just depends on how much time they give you and the size of the room.
