Question Alumnae Panhellenics

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what activities an Alum Panhellenic group does? The NPC website states a little info but not much. Just wondering if i could get some further background for anyone's experiences, before I join. Thank you

The Atlanta Panhellenic Council holds monthly meetings and our alumnae chapter sends a Delta Zeta delegate to attend and report back on what's going on. Last year, the majority of NPC sororities in the Atlanta area worked together on a big charity event for the Make A Wish Foundation. It was a Bring A Bachelor Event, and was hugely popular.

Another thing that our Panhellenic Alumnae chapter does is help match up recent high school graduates with alumnae members so that the girls can get recs for Rush when they enroll in college for the next fall.

I know that our organization does other things, but I can't think of them right offhand. If anything else crosses my mind, I'll edit this post and add them.

I know that the Panhellenic of Hawaii's major focus is to provide scholarships for incoming college women. They've raised thousands of dollars to help send these girls to a 4 year university that has an NPC organization.

In addition to that they co-sponsor many community events run by different charities.

I know there's a lot more they do...and when I do find out what they are I'll be sure to let you know!
