Home chapter claim to fame: Emory has won a lot of awards at convention and continues to do very well in recruitment. Anytime I tell someone my chapter they seem to know about us.

Favorite thing about Kappa: I have moved a lot and always found a home in Kappa. It is so easy to get involved by advising or through an alumnae association.

Things Kappa needs to work on: Getting actives and alumnae to work together. When I graduated, I didn't realize the impact Kappa would have on me as an alum. I have served as alumnae reference chair, and alumnae need to be more proactive about helping out our actives by writing references and advising.

About me: Joining Kappa was such a great thing for me. I absolutely love my chapter, and though I'm new (I'm a sophomore) I really want to improve it and make it great. We're currently the newest and smallest chapter on campus.

Home chapter claim to fame: According to my chapter's registrar (though I can't find the resources to fact check this), we were the largest Kappa charter colony, as well as the largest one at UCF, when our chapter was founded And in our 6 short years, we've won Greek Week twice, and homecoming for the past four years in a row!

About me: I'm an English major, currently minoring in magazine journalism. I was only too happy to abandon the GC username that I had before, as it was grammatically incorrect! *gasp!* I was recently elected to the Education chair position, and I ADORE it. It gives me an excuse to look up every Kappa fact that I can get my grubby little hands on, and a chance to educate my chapter. I'm bombarding them with trivia questions and "Did You Know...?" facts weekly.

Home chapter claim to fame: Hm… I am not sure if we have a “claim to fame”. Perhaps someone can inform me on how to look that up? Haha. Well we did just get “Cleanest Cluster Award” at Arizona State University Greek Awards. At Province our House Chair got an award. We have the most improved grades on campus here at ASU. We took first place in Sigma Pi's Philanthropy (Sigma Pidol). And I am also very proud that our Chapter has made a complete 360, improving in every way possible.

About me: I was born and raised in Chandler Arizona. I still live there, with the exception of my school address here at the Epsilon Delta Kappa Kappa Gamma Housing cluster. I am a junior at ASU and I will be graduating in Spring 09 with a B.A. Communications degree and a minor in Tourism Management and Development. I absolutely love Kappa and I am sad to be graduating on time because I joined my Sophomore year and I wish I could finished my 4th year in Kappa and graduate with my pledge class.
