2015 Texas Floods

Thanks, everyone who asked about us. My family and I are fine. My daughter Gypsyboots and her husband are okay (they live in San Marcos, scene of some of the worst flooding.) San Marcos and Blanco rivers are in record setting overflow. To give you some perspective, the highest the Blanco had been was 32 feet over. On Sunday, it was at 42. It is VERY scary.

The Gamma Phi Beta house at Texas State (San Marcos) provided the worth of its retention ponds and drainage systems. They did their jobs! I am concerned about the Zeta house - it has flooded in the past. All Gamma Phi chapter members seem to be accounted for, but I'll get the final report tonight.
