okay...alpha was our first chapter founded by the ladies at hunter college...alpha alpha is the chapter letters for the 24th (?) chapter chartered...this is just a guess!!!!

but here's my question...

what year was the phi sigma sigma foundation formed???

Phisig QT your answer is not totally correct...when Hunter College's campus divided, one part remained alpha and the division became alpha alpha(the whole story is in reflections)

actually the first doube letter guard was beta alpha (we didn't start with alpha when we started over)

I think the foundation was started in 1969, which would make it a year after (1968) Hunters campus split into Hunter, on Park Ave, and Herbert Lehman in the Bronx- both part of the City Univeristy of NY system

Both inactive!

Does anyone know if Hunter or Lehman have greeks?
