A jump of 60 girls pledged more than last year? That's fantastic!
Tell us more about UTC sororities, please!

I know the Chi Omega chapter is the oldest on campus -- next year they will celebrate 90 years of sisterhood.

ADPi was chartered in 1926 and Sigma Kappa and Kappa Delta are the newcomers! (I believe KD joined the campus in 1999 and SK predates that.)

I recall hearing that Pi Beta Phi had a strong prescence on campus for many years and Phi Mu also had a chapter there.

UTC did not become part of the Tennessee system until the 1970s. Prior to that, it was a private school, University of Chattanooga. The school has quite a large endowment. The UTC Foundation is vital to the school's success. In 2001 they received the largest single donation to date, a $25 million dollar gift from local philanthropist, Jack Lupton.

It's a great school.
