Random spotting of greek 'letters':

While viewing miscellaneous youtube videos, came across an old homemade film entered into a TV Commercial Contest for a local radio station. The homemade video was filmed on campus at a local university. In the video was a young woman, walking in a group, wearing a green t-shirt with THETA written in big white letters across the front.

Evidently there is a Chi Omega living in my condo building. I spotted a Chi O license plate frame on a car in the garage.

(wonders if she should get an AEPhi license plate frame and see how long it is before another GC'er posts in this thread that s/he spotted an AEPhi in New Orleans )

Just got back from AST's convention, so clearly I saw my letters all over Pittsburgh! But I also saw an AKA at Newark airport.

Several greek letter sightings during the recent hot spell:

1) an Alpha Phi/Phi Kappa Psi event shirt worn by the female of a couple at a local eatery;

2) the greek letter Sigma, which is actually just a sideways letter 'M', within the sideways-hanging "WELCOME" sign just inside the front door of an Aldi supermarket.

Also wanted to mention that years ago car windows normally sported both a university name sticker AND a greek letter sticker. Despite growing fraternal membership and chapter numbers since then, now it's usually just the university name sticker on car windows. In our area greek letters/fraternity names are more commonly found on car license plate holders, but rarely are both a school name item and the greek lettered item on the same car.

I'm at the DPhiE convention right now. One of the presenters today is a Gamma Phi Beta. I spotted a woman at the banquet wearing a Phi Sigma Sigma badge. It is so beautiful! We also have staff members from Phi Mu, Pi Beta Phi and Alpha Gamma Delta. They wore their badges this evening.

I've usually had university stickers on my cars. I bought window stickers for both my parents' cars when I matriculated *ahem* years ago; my mother applied hers but my father refused.

Long story short ... my parents went down to one car when they retired, and they have both died. I took over the lease on Dad's car, which is my only car as we've decided to sell our other cars. Dad's car is about to come off lease, so no point in getting a window sticker now. I do have an MIT license plate frame, which I plan to keep. And would I like to get an AEPhi sticker - heck yes - but my husband hates my sorority ... never mind that one of my sisters introduced us and was my maid of honor ...

I'm guessing that due to the number of collegiate Gamma Phi Betas that I saw at Love Field yesterday that there are training sessions going on now.

Saw a Sigma Delta Tau at Heathrow in London. Also, while in London, two guys were wearing ADPi formal shirts.

Many DZs here at the SFO airport. Their convention just ended. I am on my way to Cleveland for our National Convention. I also saw 2 ChiO’s, 1 PhiSig and 1 Phi Mu at the airport.

Well not a spotting of a physical object, but in a song:
"But when I taste tequila, baby I still see ya
Cutting up the floor in a sorority t-shirt
The same one you wore when we were
Sky high in Colorado, your lips pressed against the bottle
Swearing on a bible, baby, I'd never leave ya
I remember how bad I need ya, when I taste Tequila
When I taste Tequila"

Now which sorority is Dan + Shay referencing in this song?

I saw a Sigma Kappa in the gift shop of the British Museum while in London (must have been June 28 or 29).

And I am sure I was seen by people on the day I wore my APhiA shirt

Saw a couple of Zeta Phi Beta members this morning on my way to work ...

My masterful google fu has since told me that Boulé is here in New Orleans this year.
