Today
Air: "Today" by Randy Sparks
You'll find as a Kappa you'll always recall
The laughter, the friendship, the memories, and all
The blues that we cherish, the owl so wise;
These are the symbols that we will hold dear all our lives.
I'll be your true friend and I'll be your sister,
You'll know who I am by the key that I wear.
I'll strive to be loyal, I'll try to be worthy
Of all that we honor and share.
Repeat first verse
Alternate Version
Today and tomorrow, our love's golden key;
The caring and sharing, bonding all K.K.G.
Friendship and unity, truth and fraternity
For us right now in the flue fleur-de-lis, K.K.G.
Ours is a sisterhood open and challenging.
Ours is a house from which laughter shall ring.
We share a heritage, tradition of loyalty,
Of our dear Kappa Kappa Gamma we sing.

I never heard the alternate version sung--seems like it doesn't fit the tune as well. Hope this is what you were looking for!

My chapter used the alternate version. I've always thought it was quite pretty. We also had a harmony part that used these lyrics--
The days of our Kappa years may fly away, die away,
The days of true friendships may be memory,
We have loved, we have learned, let us teach now in turn,
For the flame that was kindled forever shall burn, KKG.
I don't know the original song it was based on at all, but I've always felt the song was quite pretty and the rythm wasn't awkward at all.
