Re-Rushing
I got dropped from a fraternity, but I felt like I was dropped prematurely. On night one of rush, I stopped in briefly to talk to about 5 brothers. I decided that I liked that fraternity and went back on night two. I was speaking to one brother and was interrupted mid conversation and got dropped. They have a 100% bid process and felt like I didn't get a fair chance to speak to all of the brothers. My question is should I re-rush again in the spring? Fall? Thoughts?

May I ask what a "100% bid process" is?

Every brother has to agree to give you a bid.

I believe it is when all the brothers of the chapter must meet the PNM before giving a bid. I don't know if all have to meet him to decide if he should be dropped.
OP, I have no idea how large the system at your campus is, but maybe you should check out some other fraternities on campus. As for whether or not you should rerush this one fraternity... it's hard to say. If the six (ish) guys decided to drop you, what will make them like you next time? Some campuses also don't have as big a spring recruitment, if at all.

How you were dropped was rude, and I'm sorry for that. Don't try again at that chapter - there are many other options at FSU and I would encourage you to look at as many chapters as possible in the spring.

I don't think it's as common as it used to be, but I have heard of systems where one black ball is enough to disqualify somebody. But it seems odd to me that you got dropped in the middle of rush.

At schools like this it's not odd at all - though it was quite rude to do it mid-sentence in my opinion. I have a friend and brother who was his chapter's designated blackballer. They told him who was out and he would pull them aside to tell them they werent interested and escort them out. If t happens early in rush I actually think it helps men who might be wasting their time at a house they won't ever get a bid to.

You can re-rush the next semester. I got dropped for not acting like a slave
If you got dropped from one fraternity i would advice not re-rushing that same fraternity. Why would you want to re-rush the one that dropped you?

I just have a bunch of friends in there, but there isnt much you can do if one brother doesnt feel like he knows you well enough due to the 100% bid process but I have friends in others so I'll just go there in spring.

If you were dropped because they "just didn't know you well enough" then you would have just been able to stay and get to know them better. Someone you talked to didn't like you and that's that. Time to give another chapter a chance.
