Under Special Rules #1... I wonder what kind of charts they would be showing?

I was wondering this as well...I'm imaging the old-timey equivalent of a Powerpoint statistically analyzing why ABC is the best sorority and just the thought of it bores me to sleep!

I'm struck by how similar some of the rushing rules are today.

However, the general rules are pretty funny. Only three? And was missing sorority meetings for "dramatic productions" practices such a problem that it warranted a place as one of the three rules?

Don't go discounting dramatic productions.

I'd do anything to get my hands on one of those forbidden charts.

I would guess Ell-freed.

That's really interesting that they were not allowed to bid girls who'd been in high school sororities. (That's one of those rules that I wonder if it was really followed.)

The high school sorority (as well as fraternity) issue was a big one during these years. I don't know a whole lot about the high school organizations, but a lot of time was spent talking about them. I have also come across references about having to depledge or not pledge a particular person because she was a member of a high school organization. I'm not sure if it was a case of divided loyalties or not.
