For the right now, I'd be more worried about your Vandals getting gashed for over 10 yards per rush attempt. Or, y'know, completing a pass. Ugly - hope they turn it around, I faded everybody on this game in our bowl pool.

Yeah, I ignore what happens on blue turf in a different time zone. It makes me a grumpy Vandal. The game was only broadcast two places in town. One is a bar made of cinder blocks with no windows and you can see into the men's room, or a restaurant that serves wings in sweet sauce. I chose to work today so I can go away to Sweden or Norway next summer and hold "I worked during the first bowl game in 10 years and over the holidays" over my coworkers heads.
Of course I could be in a different job by the summer.

I had a 45 minute wait at the Dr.
Yet again, I wonder how I ever waited 45 minutes without an iPod.
Best Christmas gift ever (well, besides my Laker tickets).

I'm trying a "digital copy" of a Disney movie on my iPod tonight. I don't know why I think it's going to be different than downloading a movie on iTunes (I've done it) but something about having an actual physical disk that I need to put in the computer... it's strange.

So I know this is post #23,987 about the iPod, but this evening, I went for a walk and did not have to do so in complete silence.
This must be how primitive man felt when he discovered fire or something, lol.

Mine made mowing the lawn almost tolerable! When I got a car with an Ipod input jack, life was truly amazing as I no longer had to carry 35 CDs around in my car.
To my boss and co-worker: I am still stunned by what you guys did yesterday.
I went to lunch, thinking that I was going to go ahead and ask to take New Year's Eve off since it's been so slow, all three of us were scheduled to work and only one of us HAS to be there. I come back from lunch to find you both gone and an email saying "It's so slow, we both decided to take the rest of today and all of tomorrow off." WHAT? Do you think maybe you could have waited until I got back from lunch to see if I wanted some of the time off too? There's a chance I would have volunteered to work it anyway because I was wary about using up my vacation time BUT I would have liked the consideration. Perhaps the boss could have approached us and said "It's so slow, we really don't all need to be here, how should we split up this time?" Even if HE had said "I"m taking the afternoon and tomorrow off, do one of you guys want some of this time off too?" that would have been fine. To come back from lunch to "We both left since it's so slow" is simply bullshit.
P.S. I'm taking my time getting in to work today and, if it's so slow I can't stand it, I'm leaving early :P
