i am really digging this show - and the music.
For some reason i find myself very curious about what will happen with meredith and the hot doctor. i hope they get together, they have an interestingly complex and almost scandalous relationship going on. great for drama!
Sundays have become my favorite night of tv with this and desperate housewives!

It has been announced that Boston Legal will not return until the fall. Grey's Anatomy is doing so well it will keep it's current time slot.

HUGE BOO on this one, Boston Legal had been getting good ratings too I thought. Hope this doesn't turn out to be true. I'd be okay with it being moved to another night though...
I'm gonna be the lone voice of dissention here and say that I wasn't very crazy about Grey's Anatomy. I watched my first episode last night and thought it was ehhh. Weird cross between ER and Scrubs. I much prefer ER.
I guess I didn't really like any of the characters and the storyline didn't grab me.
I don't know that ABC should make huge decisions based on two episodes, though.

i am not a good re-capper but, so here goes........
a roommate walks into the bathroom while the guy is showering. she also uses his toothbrush. its his turn to do the shopping and they make him buy tampons. at the hospital, the hot girl is seen in a magazine modeling bras and panties by everyone. this one patient fantasizes about her and is embarrased that he might not get an erection if they remove his balls. they end up saving the nerves in the end. the asian chick is stuck with an old scrub nurse who was put there to die. some guy had like 7 nails stuck in the head and he also had a tumor. in the end, they decided to remove the tumor with the consequence that he may not remember anything ever. no one slepted with anyone. thats all i can remember

I think it has to do with the pedestal everyone has her mother on. Knowing something like this happened to a "master surgeon" would tarnish her image. This weekend she said that there is a rule at her home that only the daughter can visit. I guess she doesn't want people feeling sorry for her.
I do LOVE the show. My sister and I watch it every Sunday night. We have a TIVO night with Desparate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy.

Yes, she did explain that her mother would be horrified if anybody knew the state she was in. I was glad that they addressed it. I just wasn't sure if she was embarassed or if it was her mother that preferred it that way.
I'm bummed about Boston Legal. I like that show a lot too. Why can't they find space for it somewhere????

So I've been 4weeks behind on the show thanks to working, but I finally got the chance to catch up yesterday (like every episode but the pilot maybe) and it's definitely good. It has some of the medical appeal of ER, but it's just better to me.
Maybe it's because ER's just been around TOO long in my opinion, so this can finally take it's place. And Katherine Heigl, my favorite actress when I was a kid thanks to "My Father the Hero" is on it as Izzy.
