Tee hee! I am 5'1 and 3/4"--short by pretty much anyone's definition. Other than the annoyance of having to get pants hemmed, being short hasn't scarred me for life. Nor has it ever prevented me from getting dates, (or now) having a happy marriage.
Greeklawboy is 6'2", but I haven't ever heard him complain about the height difference. We get funny looks sometimes when we're walking down the street, but hey--it works for us.

My mom gets technical like that ALL the time. She's 5'2 and 3/4" and I'm actually 5'2 and 1/4 so she takes great pleasure in being taller than me.........
Plus, you don't have to worry about dating guys shorter because at my height, they're usually MUCH younger (as in illegal age).

I'm 5'6, and although it might sound mean, I can't go for a guy that is less then 5''8, 5'9!

Now i did attend a formal with a guy that was 6'7......dancing with him was a problem Ofcourse that wasnt the only problem, he was a shitty date too, but that's a separate story
YOu can check me and my shortness out at : http://community.webshots.com/user/meemo

I am short-- 5'3"---- my husband is 7'0"--- the height difference is huge.
I couldn't see myself with a short guy (less than 6'0").

I absolutely prefer short girls! I'd say about 5'6" is approaching too tall, and a couple of times (when I was wasted) I've told tall girls who were flirting with me that they are too tall.
Strangely I used to always end up with tall girls, but now it doesn't happen.
I'm barely 5'10" so I consider myself short, and I think that's why I like short girls.

I'm 5'4", the boy is 6'3". Any shorter than 5'10" isn't happening.

They've always said that girls over 6'0 are too tall and that it just looks unattractive. This is the consensus I've gotten from many of the guys I know. They want a girl who's tall but not too tall (between 5'6 and 5'9).

Did it ever cross your mind that maybe they're just being nice since your only 5'7?

I think this is the first time in my life that being 5'9 would work to my advantage.
I felt like Amazon girl in high school....took me awhile to get over it and now I'm like, the big deal was what??????
Hell I even wear stilettoes when I go out.

So are you going to shave your body again, wear speedos and go after all these tall girls to have kids?
