I went into Philly to switch it up for the fireworks/concert (feels so great being in the city of where it all started!) and I was wearing my america themed GphiB printed shirt and saw a Delta Phi Epsilon wearing america themed printed letters, an AKA was sitting right behind me and while walking back to the train station I saw a zeta tau alpha with printed america themed letters!

Mr. KDR and I walked past a car in the Target parking lot last night that had a Tau Beta Sigma sticker in the rear window. I sqee'd just a bit.

At the Houston Museum of Natural Science's "Nature Unleashed!" exhibit there is a section on hurricanes, featuring Hurricane Katrina. In a picture of post-Katrina Mardi Gras celebrations a gentleman on a float is wearing an Omega Psi Phi hat.

Delta Kappa Gamma Teachers, within a long list of summer camp sponsors, on a tshirt on the young lady next to me yesterday.

Also, at the outdoor USA World Cup game viewing party last week read Rush Lambda Chi Alpha in yellow letters on back of dark green tshirt. Guess he didn't have anything red/white/blue to wear while cheering on Team USA.

I went to pick up a friend so we could attend an ordination to the diaconate - parked next door was a SMU Gamma Phi Beta! I left a note.

The driver could be the husband of a DZ - "my wife is a Delta Zeta". Maybe his wife's car has a license plate that says "ZBTHUBBY" or whatever.

Or the driver could be the wife of a DZ. Same-sex marriage is legal in some states.

Visited "A Subtlety", Kara Walker's latest exhibit which ended yesterday: http://creativetime.org/projects/karawalker/

Saw a guy in DTD letters. Ran into a Soror on the (very very) long line to get in (totally let me get cutsies. Membership has privileges!)

On Friday, a very sweet teacher at my kids summer daycare was wearing a tank with AGD letters on it. She's awesome and anyone who has her for a member is lucky.

Ooh, I drove on the Merritt Parkway for the first time last month and it was BEAUTIFUL! I never want to take 95 through CT again if I don't have to. Loved all the historic overpasses.

/end hijack

Saw a DG Dad's Weekend shirt with the state of Texas on the back watching the soccer camp yesterday. Also saw a Sigma Beta Chi shirt in the dining hall, which Google reveals is a local fraternity at Bryant University.
