"Owl" gifts

Hi there. I was just in Urban Outfitters and they have some intresting looking owl stuff in there, for all the Chi Omegas, Kappas and anyone else who has an owl as a symbol. Maybe something for your house or little sis for next year? Keep in mind it is Urban outfitters, so it's not the most traditional stuff...Happy Shopping!

ETA: if there isn't already a thread for this, maybe the title could be Mascot gifts instead. That way if anyone sees anything else as they are out and about, they can post it here, too. I'm not seeing how to change the thread title.

You can get some owl stuff through the Girl Guides of Canada (Brownies stuff)
http://www.girlguides.ca/media/catal...7_brownies.pdf
Jump to Page 3 of 4 for the owls.

Also, with the new Harry Potter movie coming out, I am sure that we'll see a resurgence of "Hedwig" stuff in the stores.

I was just at target to get some of those Glad tupperware containers -- and they had some very cute owl things, especially in the gardening area!

Somewhat unrelated, but one of my friends is in a new band named Hollow Owl.

I think the mascot thread idea is great! It could be for symbols too. I often see stuff in the Ross-Simons catalog and I although I personally am not in the market for a $400 diamond encrusted squirrel pin, maybe someone else is. http://www.ross-simons.com/perl/rssh...073%20PIN%204W

And it seems like I'm always seeing cute stuff for other organizations.

By any chance has anyone seen any cute kite stuff? Most of the stuff I find looks like that bloated version of a kite in the gift thread...

for that matter, j.crew has lots of clothing with anchors on it for our dg friends.

starbucks has really nice large cups and saucers in a strawberry print and my daughter and i found strawberry flip-flops and plastic tumblers with strawberries printed on at target.

the flip-flops are turquoise and the strawberries are printed on the bed of the shoe(the part of the shoe that your foot rests on)

My D and I saw tons of baby blue and pink junior women's clothes with anchor motifs at Off-Saks last month.

This is perfect for an ASA. If only it didn't cost $2,700.

I'm sure this differs area to area, but I went to the flea market to buy squirrels and found about two...but saw about a MILLION owls.

Anchors are all over clothes and those happy skulls are all over the place too.

It's always hard to find squirrels. Sigh.

After a couple of decades, my eyes can zoom in on Kappa symbols from far away. Now it's time for my brain to adjust to Pi Phi stuff for my D. So if anyone sees arrows, angels or actual carnations on cute clothes or anywhere else, please post it.

Those blue owl pails from Target ARE cute!

I agree - a Mascot/Symbol Gift thread would be a great title!

I'm forever telling Kappa friends of mine to go to Ballard Designs.com for fleur de lis and other Kappa symbols! They also have a lot of Black Diamonds, but unfortunately on rugs - NOT for a self respecting ADPi!
