to the BARS???

I thought it was bad when one of our sisters wore dress pants and heels to our local dive bar (you know, the kind that when you leave, there's crap of an indistinct origin on your shoes). The Gunne Sax dresses definitely top that.

Clarification...she was a friend, but not a sister. She was very nice, but had a very "questionable reputation"

What a wonderful memento you have, Daisy!
Oh, AnchorAlum, I am so glad to have found someone who knows about the stuffed dogs! I just attended my 43rd year reunion and everyone looked fabulous (buy stock in Clairol). You know you're getting up there when your former pledge sisters bring pictures of their grandchildren to a reunion! I found some of my albums and my sons laughed at my "big" hair and short skirts. There have been so many changes over the years, most of them necessary, but sometimes I miss the good old days.

My chapter sisters are having our 30-something reunion (early to late 70's)at the end of Sept in San Diego, Calif. Oh my, oh my if the emails of the memories are any indication there should be much laughter and whooping it up in San Diego around the 21-23rd of Sept.

We have all be submitting pictures for the event, many things can not be reprinted here and I'm sure our charter would have been pulled if we did any of these things today...... and it was a much different time. So if the ground is a shakin' around Sept 21-23rd , know that it's just the women of Gphi B from SDSU, having a ball sharing stories and incredible memories of fabulous sisterhood!

Merry...I'll be waiting to feel the jolt! Don't get too wild, though...it's not the 70's anymore. Some of the guys we went to school with dropped by our reunion to say hello...they were old men. How did that happen? One crush I used to have had been a Sigma Chi cheerleader...now he has arthritis in both legs. I almost cried. But when he smiled, he was still 18. Have a great reunion.

In sisterhood,

Happy day for ADPi.....
Since quota was so small last year, do you have any numbers for Gamma Phi, AEPhi and Tri-Delta for this recruitment? There are only four GLOs at Jacksonville.

Recruitment got so complicated this year. Quota was 7
ADPi - 8
Tri Delta-7
AEPhi - 6
GPhiB- 6...i think

All 4 sororities are still below total, so everyone is anxious for informal recruitment.

I heard from one of our alumnae that quota was six, but that Gamma Phi took 9.
