Props to Southern Miss KD's.
I was watching last night's game with Nebraska, and early on, either before kickoff or right as the game started, ESPN panned on the crowd and there was a girl holding up a poster that read, "KD <3 ESPN"

In the movie "Steel Magnolias" there is a Chi Omega composite on the wall in Shelby's (Julia Roberts' character) bedroom. I think it was from Phi Gamma Chapter at LSU.

I'm positively thrilled to say that, on last night's Dateline, in the episode on binge drinking, I didn't see ANY greek letters!! And I was really looking for them, too!

Well, not MY letters... but I was eating with my parents today, and our server was giving my mom a hard time for wearing an "FSU Mom" shirt. Then the owner of the resturant came over and talked to us - he's an FSU alum too, we talked football for awhile and then I found out he's an ATO. And then he gave us free dessert.

One night I was watching re-runs of a Different World on Oxygen. They used letters of several of the Divine Nine, I guess they don't want to play favorites, even though Bill Cosby is an Omega

In the movie "Something to Talk About" with Kyra Segdwick, Julia Roberts and Dennis Quaid, Kyra mentioned to Julia something about a Chi-O formal she went to
The movie was based in the South

I haven't actually seen Steel Magnolias, but you may be thinking of the fact that Shelby's character was based on a Phi Mu.
plus, magnolias are special to us Phi Mus.

I was on the subway today and on a window, someone had scratched delta into it, and there were 2.5 triangles above it. Were they trying to scratch 3 triangles for tri delt? Who knows, but on the door's window next to it, it had what resembled kappa scratched onto it as well, so who knows, or I could just be using my imagination and maybe that's not even what they meant to spell.
