Care Package Fundraiser
We might try to make care packages for a fundraiser...
What are good items to put into care packages for students? What would you want to receive?

I know this is an old thread, but...
My school sells carepackages for students (that live on campus). They have them catagorized like, study break, movie night, etc.
Since each has it's own theme, movie night includes, microwave popcorn, red vines, coupon to a movie rental place, a few sodas and maybe some other candy. The study break one has fruit, soda (?) and unfortunately I can't remember what else. I hadn't even thought of doing this as a fundraiser.
Good idea!!!!

care package
How about a study kit. Include some fruit or candy, water, asprin, study materials and a note saying good luck on your test or exams. (like finals)

My sorority does care packages as a fund raiser during midterms. We put in things like granola bars, fruit snacks, ritz, cookies, candy, etc. We also attach a card that parents can write whatever they want to on it for their students.

How well do these fundraisers work? I really like this idea, and I think im going to suggest it to my chapter. Do you have alot of success with these?

The care package one works pretty good for us. We charge $15 for the basket, and it costs about $8 to make it including postage costs for sending letters out to all the parents. The care packages are really popular with freshman parents. We always have a couple hundred just for the freshman dorms.

This is probably REALLY old, but my sorority has about 10 members and we call our packs snack packs and we pass them out the Sunday before finals week and in them they have: pop/water, fruit, a candy bar and chips, we sell them for $5 and we usually make $400-$500 profit.
