I can only hope that most PNMs at Bama had such great results...finding favorites early on and getting to stay with most of them throughout recruitment. Again, I think a lot of this has to do with going where you feel most comfortable. I have not heard the word "tier" anywhere in this story.
And all of those new houses and additions on this campus are absolutely amazing!!!

Love this story!!! And good for the attitude B and C ... it only takes one at the end, right??
Crossing my fingers that they love where they end up.

PREFS
A honestly loved all of her prefs, and it really came down to splitting hairs to determine where she felt most at home.
1. Lindsay
2. Coop
3. Ben
B had a hard time making a decision because she connected so much with the girls who connected with her at both chapters. At the end of the day, based on her experiences throughout recruitment, Gail had the edge.
1. Gail
2. Susie
C was in love with Andy from day 1, and while Susie put up a fight with a great pref, there was just no contest.
1. Andy
2. Susie

Such great results for your girls! Can you at least provide their pref choices?

Sure!
Coop- Kappa Delta
Ben- Chi Omega
Susie- Gamma Phi Beta
Victor, where B wanted to pref but honestly was her #3 choice, was Delta Gamma.
Katie, where C wanted to pref but was honestly her #3 choice, was Kappa Alpha Theta.

This is probably as good a place as any to address two questions that I have gotten periodically over the years.
"Why do so many of your girls get their first choices?"
Because they really do go into recruitment looking for the best fit, regardless of "tier." Obviously, there is no guarantee. But you're way more likely to be happy with your bid if this is your attitude than if it's not.
"Why don't any of them drop out or get released?"
Some of them do drop out. And some of them do get released. It happens. And it sucks. A lot. So I don't write about it here. But they all end up finding happy homes with other campus organizations if they don't find homes through sorority recruitment.

I remember one of your stories where someone dropped out. But yeah, going in with an open mind is #1.
