OMG that is awful. My prayers go out to the family of all the girls. I can't imagine being the two girls in the other vehicle that watched this accident occur!

I wholeheartedly agree with you. My sympathy is with the Kappas, and those that knew the girls.

I asked my sister the same question and her comment was that it is possible that the girl may have had identification on her that said she was 22, but she is a freshman and not 22.

Both of the girls who were killed in the accident were freshmen Kappa pledges. One was from Alabama, the other from Texas. It is now believed that the driver fell asleep at the wheel causing the car to swerve out of control and flip. The girls in the car behind this car were also Kappa pledges and friends of the girls killed. The out reach on this has been incredible. Thank you.

Oh so sad! I know that the chapter was soo excited to have these wonderful girls in their lives.

I'm watching the Bama game now and sad to think that there was such tragedy on the way.

A new release from a Mobile paper corrects the Texas girl's age. http://blog.al.com/live/2008/08/two_...bama_fres.html

On behalf of the Bama Gamma Phis, many heartfelt condolences to the Bama Kappas.

Our chapter lost a member this summer, so we truly feel your heartbreak.

Hugs and prayers for all Kappas and their loved ones.
Our newspaper today said she swerved then over compensated. I cannot imagine she'd be asleep at 8pm with a car full of girls.
