I can't speak for the NPC sororities, but I can about certain events that my chapter stays away from.

A lot of the local GLOs like having fundraisers at nearby clubs, and usually they sell presale tickets for a certain night. I can't recall fundraisers ever being "banned", but things like club fundraisers are highly discouraged, mainly because of the sale and purchase of alcohol. If we need to fundraise for Foundation, we can't use the AGD name to sponsor an event like that. With the problems of underage drinking so prevalent at college campuses, it would be too risky to do something like a club fundraiser.

As you may know, many inter/national GLOs have adopted or supported new policies regarding limiting the amount of alcohol consumption, and hopefully this will help put a stop to some of the problems affecting many GLOs.

Anything that has anything to do with alcohol.

Depending on the national there may be events that are looked at as "unladylike" but those are usually a case by case basis and depend on people's opinions.

Our main problem was with the college - they severly limit the number of fundraisers and you can't repeat the same kind. For example, if KKG has a raffle, Theta can't have one the same semester. It really makes things difficult.

I'm pretty sure that Phi Sigma Sigma is not allowed to do human auctions, because it conflicts with our Risk Management Policy.
