What does everyone here think of her? I'm not sure it was a good move to hire someone who wasn't in a sorority. Has anyone tried to talk to her?

I think part of the rationale was that:

-they need someone who is an excellent association manager, first and foremost, and
-she won't have any prejudices one way or another about chapters.

Many of the fraternities have female exec directors so they obviously weren't members.

Her job is to run HQ smoothly - not to make or enforce policy for the sorority. That is the duty of the national council. As long as she has a working knowledge of Greek life, it shouldn't be a problem.

Has anyone heard from Lisa Tate Longo since she was fired by the National Council?

Lisa worked as a consultant, went to grad school and then began work for HQ. She has had no job since college other than ASA, so I can understand why she would want to move on.

I am closing this thread.
