Dress for preference

http://www.lulus.com/products/figure...ess/51861.html

I was wondering what you all thought of this dress for preference night at an SEC school. If not for preference night what about philanthropy day where the wear is said to be "sun dresses".

I don't think that would work. Nothing about this looks remotely close to a sundress or pref attire. It's far too form fitting and sexy. You're trying to impress women, not men with your recruitment attire. Stay away from anything that form fitting or anything with the words "body-con" in the description. That style is flattering on very few people, too. Go for something a little less sexy.

No. That won't go over well at all. Think cute and much more conservative.

Thanks for the feedback I will not wear that for either. How about this dress I got it yesterday?

That'll work. It's nice and classy, and if you have the body to pull it off I'm sure you'll look beautiful.

Very pretty and overall much more recruitment appropriate.

Now, having said that, I did NOT attend an SEC school so I'm hesitant to weigh on which round that would work for. I'm pretty sure you will be able to wear it at some point. I'll defer to those with more expertise.

I thought the green dress you showed wasn't great but most of them that popped up with it were fine. I didn't like the blue one in the upper right (because I thought it was ugly, not because the shape or style was bad) but I thought the others would probably work for pref.

Any feedback on this one? That's a rhinestone belt, not white. The description said "a classic style for a classy lady."

That's what I was afraid of...my daughter said the same thing. She likes this Calvin Klein dress:

What do you think?

It has potential with accessories, perhaps colored shoes and some jewelry. I'd be concerned that it can look too much like something for the office, depending on the fabric and detailing.

I was just thinking "that looks like something I could wear to work!" then realizing that we're "jeans all the time now" and was very disappointed.

Can we talk about how these things on the hips, peplums I think they're called, make this woman look like she's about to be beamed up into another dimension?

From the back it looks like something you'd see on the SS Enterprise.

Too lazy to multi quote.

Her elbows are bent. If they were straight, it wouldn't be.
