RUSH Fall 2015 @ Texas

Hey everyone!

I am super excited to RUSH this upcoming fall and have been intensely preparing for it! I have created my social resumes, studied/raised my GPA, and watched endless videos on what to do and not do!

Depending my FAFSA return, I plan on attending Texas A&M! Although they are not as cutthroat as UT or Bama, I am determined to RUSH despite my nervousness.

I checked out the HAPA in my city and they suggested a Rec letter per sorority chapter at the university.

Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, y'all!

There is a really helpful GC thread on how to obtain recs. I'll see if I can find it. Also there's a thread by an adpi alum that tells you practically everything you need to know about recruitment. It's stickied in the Recruitment forum.

ETA: here's the helpful thread by adpiucf http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ad.php?t=54403

In addition to the excellent advice given in the stickied thread above, IMO it is important for any young woman going through "rush" was we used to call it to enter formal recruitment with a certain sense of humility. Also appreciation for all of the groups who invite you back to their parties. Remember that those active members have put a great deal of time and effort into planning these parties for you. Just remember that you are their guest and you will be fine!

I will most definitely be grateful to be invited back to any house! I'm sure its tons of work to plan out and execute such a busy week! It's all really amazing to me!
