I'd never watched this show until tonight, and we're just starting season 1 on netflix. We started watching it because everybody.... EVERYBODY we know is talking about it... wanted to see what the big deal was. I'm not sure I see it just yet, but I'll give it a few more episodes. I think my hubby is hooked though.

Just don't plan on watching too many episodes at a sitting. It can get to be a bit overwhelming. Great! But a lot to process.

I thought that, aside from the first 5 minutes, last night's episode was kind of tame. Definitely not a "mid-season opener," in my opinion.

The group of four that is now in the prison (the husband & wife, and the father & son) is making me nervous. I think that the husband and wife are good people, but the father freaked me out with his comments about killing Carl and taking his weapons.

I agree 100%. My thoughts were... I waited 2 months for this? Seriously?

I hate that Daryl left the group though

Daryl is awesome. AWESOME. I wish he were in the comics.

The Gov is fucked.

I hope the actions of The Gov have snapped Rick out of his funk. I can't stand seeing Rick this way. I almost want him to get bit.

What if we share Daryl? We each get him for a week. Everybody wins!

So I think last weeks episode with Morgan has become my favorite episode. Anyone else think that the old Rick is back?

Oh, and the poor hitchhiker....

I absolutely love the show; every sunday night my family gets together to watch it.
ANd I agree with IrishLake; the episode with Morgan was amazing. Just chills. I watch the Talking Dead after that episode also and it's amazing the psychological depth behind that episode.

I usually DVR Talking Dead. I just like to see the behind the scenes stuff, and next weeks previews... Chris Hardwick is a douche, so I try to fast forward through as much of him talking as possible.

I usually do not watch Talking Dead; lol. I actually just started because I saw one episode of Talking Dead had Alcide (Joe something) from True Blood as a guest. And I had to watch him! lol Since then, I started watching it.
