Trends of the Summer...
What are some of the trends that you have seen this summer that you like/loathe?
I am beginning to fall in love with the gladiator heels... My friend recently got a pair from Jessica Simpson for graduation and they look amazing.

You know, I never liked the gladiator sandals until I saw a girl on campus wearing them and they looked great on her. They'd look ridiculous on me, though.

Maxi dresses? I got one recently. I tried one on at Macy's that was super cute but too expensive. I settled for one from Target, and I finally wore it today! Yay!

Love: Maxi dresses, reptile print shoes, one shoulder (done tastefully) tops/dresses
Loathe: Gladiator sandals, ripped jeans, overly-fussy shoes

Old Navy has a bunch of them. I bought one in plus size and it ended up super cute.

Some of these items have been popular for a while, like the gladiator sandals and the one-shoulder dresses/tops.
I am really digging the maxi dresses. A girlfriend and I were at brunch last weekend, and some of the ones we saw were cute!

I think we're dreaming of warmer weather. Plus you know retail stores put out summer clothing way early.

I dont like the eye make up trend of dark/bright blues with dark purple eyeshadows. I'm sorry but I think ti looks whorish...especially when worn during the day. I like the smoky eye look but not this combo.

I dont find this very alluring.

I think that look works...if you're meeting Jay Manuel in 5 for a Covergirl photoshoot.
