As someone in a Jewish fraternity I can say a lot of this reigns true. As for the "Gentile" version I don't know. I guess being an Accounting major I should be set

What, no Brookline? Seriously even us non-Jewish residents from the above suburbs joked about the wicked thick accents of Bostonians and certain townies.

Bahahaha! I grew up on Long Island, so I fall into the "basically Jewish" category, right?

This brought back some memories that were long forgotten, particularly LuHi.

Ditto, especially the line about camp reunions which I've totally been guilty of.

We played an INSANE amount of volleyball at camp. I'm not really sure why, but she seems to have covered that, as well.

whats really funny is a lot of our guys fall into these categories. That's how I know there is some factual base in this.

LMAO!!! I'd like to think it was an AEPhi who wrote that response, but AEPhi isn't the only Jewish sorority at that school.

I would love it if some guy decided to approach me and fake being from Long Island. I'd just let himself dig a nice deep hole and then rip him to shreds.

Me: Where are you from?
Him: LonGuyland.
Me: Oh, whereabouts?
Him: Um... Port Washington.
Me: Oh, did you go to North or South?
Him: Um... North?
Me: Oh really? That's funny, because it's Great Neck, not Port Washington, that has two high schools called North and South. Now, where are you REALLY from? West Virginia perhaps?

I'm so mean
