If you have to go around telling everyone you're in charge you're not much of a leader.
My best advice for you as someone who just pledged last semester is to go through formal rush. Meet all the sororities and go where you feel most at home with. Pledging is the best decision you will ever make, trust me.
OR, if you'd like to pledge an NPHC Sorority (DST, AKA, Zeta or SGRho), start with researching each one (www.nphc.org has links to all 4 Sororities)and talking to the members on your campus. With NPHC Sororities, it is sometimes frowned upon if you attend all 4 rushes before you make a decision.
