Question Children Named After GLOs

Is anyone aware of anyone naming their children after a GLO's founders or mascot?

I don't personally know any, but I do know that there are DG's that have named their little girls Hannah, after our mascot.

Not within SAI, but I think it'd be awesome for an SAI to name her daughter Rose.

my daughter's middle name is rose after our sorority - additionally she was born during our convention rose banquet (not actually at the dinner - i was in a hospital in florida while the convention was going on in virginia) and the entire executive board thinks i planned it that way -

if we have another daughter her middle name will be ruby after our stone!!

I know entirely too many cats names Alphie, and daughters with the middle name Violet! If I was going to go that route, I think I'd at least go for the more original Sophronia...

lol I second that! I know of many cats named Alphie!!! And it's kind of funny, but even before I started college, I've always wanted to name my future daughter (if there ever is one) "Violet" ... mainly b/c my family has this thing with "ette" in the names of females.. and its my all time favorite color Now I have one more reason!

Hmmm...I don't particularly like Mary or Martha, so I don't think I could give my kid a Phi Mu name even if I wanted to.
