I painted the letters silver and then when they were still wet I dipped them in silver glitter! No need for glue!

thanks! i was kinda scared it would look too much like the saints or something, but those colors just go together.

The Fleur de lis paddle looks great and is very appropriate for Natchitoches, as well.

My chapter makes boards in the shape of a sailboat. Once the Little Sis is initiated, she makes one for her Big Sis and her Big Sis makes one for her. Once both of them are finished, they choose a night to exchange.
Boats are often exchanged at Bid Night, Initiation Night, after chapter, or really any day that the entire chapter (or close to that) is present. It's a fun tradition.
They're usually decorated in the theme of something that the other person really likes. Example: One girl's Little Sis loves Twilight, so her boat resembles a Twilight book cover.
