Hey, Guys... Can anybody let me in on why Sigma Pi was kicked off @ FSU? (Eta Epsilon, I think) I was just wondering cuz I know that PIKE has their house now- and I pre-partied w/ a few of them before our last Formal (They were some of my sisters' dates) and they seemed like cool guys, but were weird about telling my date (a Pike) that they were Sigma Pi's Thanks!

When Sigma Pi was "no longer officially recognized" by FSU it was done very quietly. I don't recall seeing any article in the FSView about hazing or other violations. PnguinTrax may have an answer to this since she is also very knowledgeable about FSU's greek system.
Eta Epsilon Chapter at FSU was shut down due to very poor leadership and Grand Chapter violations (money owing, alcohol) to my knowledge. I went to the Grand Chapter this summer and asked a few of the Executive why such a strong chapter was closed down, and I got that response from them. I believe they owed international a large sum of money too.
