Driving back home from NYS, I took 79 south through Pennsylvania. I swear every inch of highway had an Adopt-a-highway sign sponsored by a Greek organization! I also saw the campus of Hobart-William Smith while showing my in-laws the Finger Lakes. There are some lovely fraternity houses near the campus.

Saw a young woman in Wegmans today wearing a Tau Sigma Gamma shirt. They're a local sorority at Ursinus College, which is nearby.

I went on a long run yesterday by the coast, and ran into a young man wearing a Sigma Nu sweatshirt collecting signatures for something or other at the SF side of the Golden Gate bridge, a girl wearing a Kappa Psi Epsilon hoodie also on the SF side of the bridge, and a girl wearing a Delta Gamma Anchor ball shirt walking along the marina green.

Sitting behind me on the plane back to RDU from OPA Convention in Pittsburgh was a guy in a Sigma Alpha Epsilon t-shirt. Underneath the letters it said Florida Alpha.

On the way to breakfast with a friend this morning, a car was parked at the IHOP with a Alpha Epsilon Phi sticker on the back window. The license plate was from California.

A girl wearing Delta Phi Epsilon stitched letters came in to CVS yesterday, and today we had a field hockey team reunion party so I saw my James Madison Tri-Sig, University of San Diego AXO and Babson KKG friends.

Saw 2 cars with Phi Mu window decals yesterday. One while on my way to my apartment, and the other parked at Lowe's in Apex that was from the University of South Carolina.

Leaving for work: one of my sorors who i see in the neighborhood but cant recall for the life of me where she lives.
In Amherst/Springfield:
A group of TBSigma and AKPsi at the bus station.
An AOPi in the dining hall.
Someone on the staff here is D9 Greek, haven't figured it out.
One of the HS were working with must have an fraternity auxiliary, as I had to explain to a volunteer the concept of such and that NO, these 16-17 year old boys were not doing keg stands in their backyards.
Because...they're underage, not in a frat and chances are they don't have backyards living in Newark. And that furthermore, frats =/= (always) kegs. Because its 2013.
No shade to any of y'all who go to schools where fraternity life still = kegs.

So there is at least one DST here.
As for the HS auxiliary, there is a HS sorority I'm sure isn't part of D9 but heavily infuenced. One of the girls in my group this weekend is in the sorority and is proud to be a big sister but when I asked her about being in a sorority in college she was very lukewarm.

The other day on the Today Show, I believe, they showed a picture of Ariel Castro and his son who was wearing Sigma Lambda Beta letters.
