Not being familiar with gay men, I thought Noah was very feminine. But I *maybe* see where they are trying to take his character. By having a "typical" (as in stereotypical) gay man be the lead character, maybe they are trying to draw interest. I see Trey and don't think "gay man". But even as a woman, Noah is very femme to me.

I THOUGHT that was Noah from AMC!!! lol..

Even though I'm not a fan of locs, this man was sexy with them, he just doesn't look as sexy without them to me. When he was on Y&R, and I saw him without the locs the first time I thought the same thing.

I literally just saw the drag episode. I certainly wasn't expecting that.

I was SO mad at Chance's man for cheating on him. (Y'all have to remember I am still on the first disc of the first season, LOL)

The guys looked SO GOOD in drag! They even gave Noah the natural wig!

I echo my previous sweet jeebus for Trey.

I caught up on episodes watching this, but I couldn't watch until like 2:00, lol. Maybe I'll have to catch it Monday? I don't know.

I didn't even catch the Sigma in the drag episode. Oh well, don't really care. LOL

I caught the marathon.
I am SO mad that Alex looked that good in Drag!!

I wanted to chuckle with Noah trying to act thuggish, but I clapped when he was just himself around Wade's boys.

I wanted to pimpslap Wade for trying to set up the threesome.

I was at the Lil C thing. The first episode I saw was when they crashed the truck through the house, and had NO idea what led up to that. WOW!!! I hollared when dude ran out of the car when the cops pulled them over, though.. lol.

I can't wait for the next episode.

Yes, Alex did look good. I was like wow!

I was mad at that threesome too, but I was ROLLING how Noah was in the bathroom consulting the rest of his crew. I was also ROLLING @ Chance trying to be hood with that dayum doo-rag on his head! 'You need me to break you off some cheddar?' LMAO!!!!

It's worth it....I finished the DVD this weekend.

My observations..... Noah was more butch in the original pilot. Also, while the original pilot was good, it had more of a "film" feel to it.

Saw the audition tapes.....Noah is a DAMN good actor in real life. He plays straight really well.

Deleted scenes..... I am starting to think Patrik Ian Polk shoots two of every scene on purpose...one for the network, and one for the DVD. Lots of bootay shown. But it wasn't gratuitous.

LOVE Eddie and Chance together, all in all. I felt like Eddie was really genuine. (He also reminds me of an ex )

In some of the deleted scenes, you see better why Trey was so pressed to go to South Africa and take a break from Alex. Alex just wasn't appreciating Trey like he needed to.

LOVED the interaction with Ricky and Junito..... Ricky is a damn fine actor himself and I was so mad at him for how he did Junito.

And who knew lil Wilson Cruz was gonna lose all that baby fat from My So-Called Life??

So mad at Noah for going to that sex party.....however, Malik was hot. Where do I know him from?

I can't be too mad at Wade for kirking out about the situation though....

I don't like how Noah's hairstyle be changing three times per episode. And what was with the bone straight relaxer at the wedding AND that ridiculous outfit???? He looked like Prince meets Pirates of the Caribbean!!!

And finally.....I love how Noah's Arc uses some of the classic old school actors like Renaldo Ray and Garrett Morris. Loved their roles.

OH YEAH....one more thing....

GERT is my new favorite word!

"Noah, where's your brown sugar i need some brown sugar GERT!"

LOLOLOL I was rolling all weekend on that word alone.

I. NEED. THAT. D. V. D!!!

I didn't catch all of the drag episode, but I thought Ricky looked pretty fabulous in his drag, too.

Do you know that I have a friend that thinks that they are terrible actors??? And he watched more than just the pilot??? *faints*
I know every gay black man does not automatically have to love any show with gay black characters, but everyone should be able to recognize good plot and characters when it's broadcast.
