I think its a good thing to be number one cause that gives us bragging rights for a while now, and in case you didn't notice SHINE, ASU IS a Party school. There is no way to shed that image. I think were also on a list for the best looking students at a school.

Sooner or later, Frat row is going to replace Greek Circle for that honor, especially now that you know who is next to DG. (Don't worry I'm not talking about a GLO)
Congrats to the Greek System, even though we've all had a slow rush.

Another example of how sarcasm doesn't translate on the internet. I agree with you 100%. I think it's RETARDED that the ASU admin has been trying to "shed" itself of the party school stigma. ASU is in a beautiful place, and has beautiful students. We are what we are. And that is a party school. Hence the whole, *rolleyes* followed by the *whispering* to my roommate to pass me a beer post.
Although, I don't really know how "cool" it is to be able to have that kind of bragging rights. It makes us all look kinda like stupid, alcoholic sex addicts, you know?
"HEY LOOK AT ME, I GO TO A PARTY SCHOOL!"
Doesn't sound so cool. It may make us look like we have this great life, but in reality, people just snicker behind our backs because it doesn't appear that take education seriously.
I personally am a moderate partier. I go out usually 3 nights a week and hit the party scene, but the rest of the time I concentrate on my studies.
So, I think the stigma of being the "#1 party school" has it's positives, and it's negatives. However, it's never something I will "brag" about.
That's just me, though.

LSU is #4. Thankfully, most of what they talked about is football. And, well, that part is true.
Amazing that such a party school grew up in such a backwoods, uptight town. Must be the NOLA influence

The funny thing about the rankings are that they are decided by the students at each school. Your school only gets up there is enough people actually write into Playboy and nominate their school.
We (Washington State University, beter known as Wazzu) spent years at the top of the Princeton Review's list of Party schools, especially after the riot. But someone must think that things have calmed down because we don't even make that list anymore! Maybe it's because of the "dry" campus.. but I'm sure you all have that too...

Don't worry Stan, the slow rush is the problem all over the country (including Iowa State U).
We're honored to be number 13, I think (so I heard).
Well, anyway, GO GREEK!
