Brother Dickson,

I think its an excellent idea and wish you the best.

I would like to profer a small sugestion:

The web site needs to be cleaned up a little.

The title is not centered and I was actually a little unsettled at the all black with the Skull and cross bones.

I mean its ok if you are only courting brothers, but college administrators and women migh be a little daunted.

Cheerful colors and les visible reminders of death

Hey, sorry to crash the board, but I thought I'd share my two cents...not that it's worth much!

I think your ideas are awesome! So many kids just kinda float through college...I'm sure you'd be a great speaker to bring out some of the more important things that are happening...

As far as your web page...I have to agree with James...it is rather dark. I've done a bit of web page work and think your page would be more inviting with a lighter color scheme. The black background with the white text is rather harsh on the eyes.

I also agree that the title should be centered. I'd also suggest into looking into getting someone to make you a banner/logo...rather that using plain text as a title.

It's great that you keep a very consistant look to each of the parts of the page, that's very important in the web world.

If you do not know much about HTML, I encourage you to not be afriad to try new things...the way I learned was literally copy/paste. I found a web page that I liked...I clicked on view and picked source code and copied it and then pasted it into my HTML editor...then I learned what each piece of code did.

Good luck with your new business!!

Don't take this the wrong way but I think a graphic other than the skull might be better for the services you are trying to convey.

The Skull

Thanks 33,

I have kept the skull fo two reasons.

1. It is a common Greek symbol and has deep meanings to all who where it on their crest. It also has significance to the ramifications of life "Behind the Shield" of student life.

2. Whether the like, or hate, the skull, EVERYBODY notices it.

I haven't come up with a great reason that negates these two.

(I did edit the color scheme a little)

DG has no skull and crossbones anywhere around it...I was a little confused. I like pirates though!

Daisy,

The two statements were unrelated.
My Step-daughter is a DG.
That had nothing to do with the explanation of the skull and swords.
