Exclamation ANYONE?????

Hey there...BABELSUSA from Sigma Alpha at LSU. Just wondering, to make sure that I am not the only one, does it seem to anyone else, that this semester is full of events, leaving little time to study????? Or has anyone felt so lazy and not wanting to do anything..including studying, and just wanting to sleep? I love my sorority and have tons of fun. How do all of you fraternities or sororities deal with all of the time that you commit to your frat or soror? Im sorry if this letter is confusin, or if it sounds like I.m just babling, but I am TIRED!!! HAve a nice day!

Hey BABE,

No your letter is not confusing. I'm not in a sorority, but I'm having a time being focused. In addition to taking 16 hours, I also work and am in a couple of other organizations. Last semester was really rough because I was working two jobs. This semster is kind of bad because I'd rather be at basketball games then doing my homework.

Well, if anyone is going to be honest about this subject-sometimes there isn't enough time to do it all! You just have to decide what you can take care of and what you have to let go. Your studies have to come first, because if you don't make your grades, you won't be back to be involved at all. One semester may be worse than another, just from the kind of load you are carrying. It's also hard, especially at LSU and other big football schools, to fit all the socializing in and the school work. You just have to make a plan. Summer school is good for those who just can't handle all of it in a regular semester. Think about taking some of your harder classes in the summer, by themselves, so that you can concentrate on them, alone. Explain to your chapter if things just are getting out of control and you have to cut back on the social responsibilities. They should understand and work with you.
