University of Tulsa's Results
Here are the results for University of Tulsa:
Quota=15
Chi-O=16
Tri-Delt=16
Theta= 16
DG=16
Kappa=15
KD=8
Rush was so awesome for nearly all the houses this year! Definitely the best rush that I've seen since I've been at TU, with 5/6 houses making at least quota!

Tarleton State
I don't have everyone's results, but quota was 43, and Delta Zeta made quota for the 19th year in a row!!! (We got 5 of 6 DZ legacies & a couple of DZ cousins!).
I don't know AGD or Phi Mu's results, but will share as soon as I get them.

UCSan Diego had an AEPhi colony that formed from an interest group. They chartered last winter. This fall will be their first formal recruitment on campus!

Can someone please tell me what GLO stands for? I saw this on another Greek Chat post....I'm sure this is probably elementary, but I just can't come up with it. Thanks!

Hey! I pm'd you!
But anyway, GLO I think just means in simple terms - a sorority or fraternity.
i.e -"my Glo just recruited 5 new members" .....something like that. I think.

According to our advisors at SDSU the only vote that was actually taken with respect to Alpha Epsilon was whether they could participate in formal recruitment. The vote did not pass. Our chapter and advisors say that the chapter has not affiliated with AEPhi. Where are you getting your information? Do you have friends in the chapter?

I think SoCalGirl is talking about the AEPhi chapter over on UC San Diego's campus, not at SDSU.

I was simply clarifying for AEPhiSierra that, yes there is a new AEPhi chapter in San Diego, and no it's not at SDSU. Sorry I wasn't clearer when I wrote UCSan Diego.

They used the new Panhellenic release figures. For some reason, I don't think it fit our campus well. A lot of this could be due to the hurricane causing recruitment to be set back about a week and a half.
Maybe a UCF collegiate member can fill us in on the details and what happened?
|
I heard that quota was 57 women- it dropped dramatically throughout the course of recruitment. Because of the hurricane, I've been away from campus, and haven't heard much about who made quota/ etc. Kappa received 37 wonderful women. Many PNMs dropped out of recruitment because of confusion about the new recruitment schedule. The last 2 nights (video and prefs) were on school nights. Girls asked me all week what they were supposed to do if they had class on those nights. UCF has tons of night classes- its very common.
I also heard rumors- totally unconfirmed- about glitches in the new Pan computer matching system.
I think everyone was surprised with the low numbers. Its only our 2nd recruitment, so we still have a lot to learn. Still, I felt we did a complete 180 from last year and were doing really well all week long.
UCF is definitely not ready for all of this expansion! We have houses struggling, and after this low turnout for recruitment, I don't think we're in any position to open our doors to 2 more groups this year.
I know this isn't too much info, but its all that I have heard so far. I'll be at Pan today, so I will see if I hear anything else.
ZTAngel, I'm PMing you.
