LSU had an active shooter on campus today. PNMs and sorority members were locked into the houses and not allowed to leave after their parties.

From what I can tell, there was no active shooter (no shots fired). Though, they were calling it an "armed intruder". (Is that the new name for active shooters now??).

The situation must have been frightening for everyone. All of those young women in recruitment stuck inside the parties with no cell phones to call/text their parents. That must have been nerve wracking for a while there.

That other website commented on the huge new members groups stating that D Phi E did not participate in formal recruitment this year. Are they doing a "re-building"of the chapter??
