Saying things like "the church I attend now" and you'll ask your "current pastor" definitely suggests more than "a couple of times as an adult." But whatever.

I take the use of "my pastor" to mean that the person belongs to a church even if the person does not attend regularly.

I am still intrigued that a Black person with a college education has never heard the role of religion in the African Diaspora being challenged just as Greek Letter Organizations for people of the African Diaspora has been challenged for generations.

You're the mofo who did a search, I haven't been since. Because I said that shit then, doesn't mean I'm going every day. LOL dumbass.

I'd agree if he didn't also say "the church I attend now." But you can't fault someone for thinking that saying "the church I attend" suggests actual attendance.

Dude, you say shit in just about every post. I don't care whether you go or when you go or where you go. But LOL at you for getting bent out of shape every time someone calls you on a contradiction or on failure to communicate clearly.

I too have a church that I attend--a few times a year.

That is the church and the pastor that I most identify with although I am not a member of this church and do not attend regularly. It is still the church that I attend. However, I would not use "my church" or "my pastor" because I am not a church member. Iota Man may be a lazy church member.

/Need to remember that I admitted that in case I try to lie about church attendance in a future post

I can't tell, when it's that important to you to do a search. If you don't care then shut up LOL.

LOL I'm not getting bent out of shape. That's not me failing to communicate, that's your own dumbass assumptions.

I'm making a note of this thread, and I will call you out on it.

The only reason it even occurred to me to care or do a search is that the posts to which I linked were a conversation between you and me, and I remembered that conversation.

You make the mocking so easy, it's hard to resist. I'll try though.

Are we going to start that stupid "have a seat home's" thing again.

So predictable.

Oh, and since it apparently isn't clear to you, caring that you seem to be contradicting yourself isn't the same as caring what you do or don't do.

Not necessarily.

There are plenty of people who will refer to a church as "their church," especially if it's the one they attended as a child, or if their family's celebrations of life (christenings, funerals, and weddings) take place there. Sometimes they even know who the pastor is and are familiar with him. Imagine that!

Nitpickiness has its place, but it's not here, it seems.

Home's WHAT? I'm dying to know what it is that belongs to " home".
