George Bush is NOW the president?
Well i just watched the news and the secretary of state announced George W. Bush winning the state of Florida, and giving him the electoral votes making him our new president. I am sorry to bring this up once and again because i know it doesnt end here, but being a Bush supporter, i just wanted to share the good news. Well good news for me atleast

Not yet....Sore/Loserman are not through with their lawsuits! We didn't even get to hear from Gore - he had to send Joe to the press conference....what - he can't personally come announce to the world that he's going to sue to be president?
Hey I know...let's set ANOTHER deadline!

I just went to that webpage AXO Alum, and its so funny, did you get a chance to see the one about the ballot? That was pretty cute as well.
I totally agree with you- because Al Gore should have had the guts to come out and say to the nation what Joe basically said.

In Canada, our election is today.
We use the good ol' fashioned ballots, a clear "X" marked in pencil beside the name. None of this misleading butterfly ballot business.
It isn't cheap, but maybe they should just redo the whole election (or at least in Florida), or this thing is going to be tied up for eons.

Redoing the whole election would not only be unethical but it also would not solve anything. People may change their votes; especially if they voted for Nader. The people who voted for Nader may decide to vote for Bush/Gore now. Also, some of the people who voted on Nov.7 might not be able to revote. They might be out of town, they could have died (hey...it happens), or some people are just too lazy to make it the poles for a second time. Unfortunately, we have to stick with the votes submitted from Nov.7. Hopefully we will never have a problem like this ever again!

Now let's see where we are....Wow - we finally hear from Gore himself! Shocking! And then he calls for a complete and total recount...hmmm...does that include the hundreds of overseas military votes that he has fought to keep out of the count? Let's talk majority vote...60% of Americans are calling for him to concede so we can get on with our lives. Something about integrity keeps coming to mind....

JEB is a nickname, based on his initials. His real name is John Ellis Bush.

Oh, we HAVE to get Dan Rather in on the commentating job!
"Wow, Bob! Bush took Gore down faster than a wino guzzlin' a bottle of Thunderbird!"

33girl,
I think the thunderbird would go good with that comparison with Bush but how about substituting the weak wino for a fierce drinking Yager(Yagermeister) man. Bushamania like Hulkamania.
