The Crescent
Summer 2009 is on-line - I LOVE the photo contest winner! I was supposed to have a poem in it, but it looks like it didn't fit in with the rest of the content, and so I'll keep my fingers crossed for the fall.
What do you particularly like/dislike about The Crescent? (This specific issue or in general)

But in answer to your question, I thought the Foundation cruise article was going to be longer. I thought they were going to use it to encourage more participation next time and it could have used a bit more "umph" (however that word is supposed to be spelled)
But the one pic they used showed a nice cross section of participants....

Does anyone know if I can get a back copy of the Spring 2009 issue? I never received mine, and I would really like to have it

Spring 2009
It's on-line - but you can call IHQ to see if you still need a hard copy.

I thought the cruise article was going to be much longer, too! I was asked for permission to use some of my pics, so I guess I also figured there would be more pics. Which is fine that there weren't, but I wonder if any of my pics with crescents in the background will end up in the next Capture the Crescent section, instead. The pic they used is great, and the article was really nice, but I was surprised by the short length.
Unrelated, but I do really love the fact that they are including a fun historical item in each issue now.

They asked to use a LOT of my pics from the cruise......even emailed me to ask who all was in the photos since they didn't know everyone.

A number of years ago (before it was online) I didn't get one of mine and I just emaile the Crescent Editor and told her I didn't get it and they mailed me a new one.
They will probably tell you it's online........

I sort of think of you as the "Where's Waldo?" of Gamma Phi. Every time I see a photo or video of an event, I always look for you because I just know you'll be in it somewhere!

I adore the photo contest winners photo. It truely is a wonderful shot. I did however, miss the random photo's of crescents taken all over the world. I know they will be back, but I always flip to those first and then read all the articles.

Hard copy mailed next week - I got a sneak peek because I'm a contributor.
See if you can figure out which part is mine!

I'm guessing your contribution rhymes with roam . . .

I just saw the online edition earlier this evening and noted one particular page with a contribution from someone from SWTX. Guess who I immediately thought of?
