Don't ever call us TU. Yes, our new screen will be an 8 Million Dollar 7,370 square foot high-definition LED scoreboard, which will be the biggest high-definition screen in the world. It will be in place for the start of the 2006 football season.
In addition, we are exnding the north end of the stadium to increase capactiy to 90,000+, making it the biggest stadium in the state.

I only call you via your proper name.
Sure, everything is bigger in Texas. But when you come up to Lincoln on October 21st, you'll be wondering how you just got your ass kicked by some po-dunk farmer boys. And how in the hell can a stadium that only holds 85,000 can be so damn loud. Beware of the Sea of Red.

Thats not our proper name.......thanks. Its The University of Texas not Texas University. If you want me to give you a history lesson I'd be more than happy to. Ah hell, might as well. The Texas Constitution of 1876 called for the creation of a first class university.....the University of Texas. Texas A&M College had been created in 1862 with the passage of the Morril Land Grant Act. Texas A&M College wasn't changed to Texas A&M University until 1963.
I have been to Nebraska Texas games before in Lincoln, and i'll be there again for this one. But your fans are way too nice to be considered anything close to hostile. Yeah, you have a good amount of returning lettermen, but I just don't see Nebraska improving much from last year. I would predict another 8-4 to 9-3 season.

I just don't see why people think Nebraska is any good.

I thought this ranking was interesting (and also on topic):
Rivals.com has ranked the top 10 stadiums in home field advantage in Division I-A football. They are:
1. Lane Stadium (Virginia Tech)
2. Tiger Stadium (LSU)
3. Ohio Stadium (Ohio State)
4. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (Florida)
5. Beaver Stadium (Penn State)
6. Autzen Stadium (Oregon)
7. Kyle Field (Texas A&M)
8. Camp Randall Stadium (Wisconsin)
9. Doak Campbell Stadium (Florida State)
10. Jordan-Hare Stadium (Auburn)

The company I work for was invited to bid on the control room and editing facilities for the stadium at Nebraska.
Unfortunately, we were too booked up to do the work in the time specified, so we had to pass.
Having directed college football games for many years, stadiums are a lot of fun for me, and I've been to a lot of them.
My favorites don't include any of the above, but I don't look at them from the standpoint of rivalry.

Give it up TKE. That hit on Reggie Brown is one of the worst in SEC history. They changed the rule on incidental helmet-to-helmet because of it.
