WIFLSRN: I can’t wait until I can post TGIF. It’s only Tuesday and I’m already exhausted.

He did, though. I don’t remember all the details, I just remember most/or all of his administration having some involvement in his corruption. At the time, I was living in Wixom and going to school in Detroit. I’d sometimes hear conversations about mayors before him who were also corrupt. He just got caught. I think there was some gun violence, too. He was no different than Al Capone, to me. Same mentality.

Images on GC? All images or just some images? Is it still occurring?

It's possible that GC's server was just overloaded at the exact moment when your browser was downloading the images.

Once in a great while when I notice my browser loading a bit slower than normal, especially if it impacts more than 1 site, I'll clear my browser cache. Clearing just the cached images & files usually clears it all up. Don't clear your passwords, history, cookies, etc, unless you're sure you want to do that. I've rarely seen cookie files cause the same types of issues, but it can happen. With something like that you can test it out by deleting just the cookies from the one website impacted to see if doing that helps as well.

It’s about 15-20 minutes from Detroit… if that. I speed so it always depended on traffic for me. But normally, about 15-20 minutes.

So, when I posted a picture of my dog, it disappeared. But then when I posted a picture of her again, it stayed. I’m not sure if it’s still there now, but it did stay up when I originally posted it. If I post images or gifs from the internet, those always stay. It’s just when it’s my own pictures or text image funnies I get from friends and family that don’t seem to stay.

I remember way back when, I could right click on a picture or image, copy and then paste, and that was it. But now, I have to type [img] [/img] and then paste the image right between the two brackets. I only recently started doing that after I looked it up on here to see how. But, I remember before when that wasn’t necessary. I wouldn’t have even known how to post pics that way years back.

Okay, so call me dumb, but I’m totally lost with the second part of your post, John. Yes, I’m like way computer illiterate, lol.

Oh, and I almost forgot to post WIFLSRN: Today at work, I had a patient who was loaded with fleas. These were Ctenocephalides felis, or simply the cat flea.

Anyway, as I combed through her fur, some were falling off the cat and landing on my exam table. I just watched them jump, and for some reason, I immediately started thinking.. “You annoying, little buggers are incredible creatures.” I mean, if they were like the size of a human being, they could easily leap over tall buildings.

Dog fleas are a different species? After my vet got rid of my dog’s worms, she switched him to Sentenel (spelling). When you say “loaded” with fleas Lol how bad was that? You don’t worry you’ll bring them home with it being that many? When I think of “loaded” I see that as full or infested.

GC has never been setup for hosting images. So whenever you post images they need to be hosted on a website somewhere. Could be your own website or an image hosting site. You take the image link/url and post that link between the image BB code tags & that enables you to post images here on GC. For example: [img]---image link goes here---[/img]

No worries. I thought all images on GC were not loading for you but the way you describe it now indicates a different possible issue. No, you're not computer illiterate, the way I figure is as long as you can use GC then you're doing just fine. And the other part of my previous reply was a bit more on the technical side anyhow.

Wasn’t he responsible for bringing those casinos to Detroit?

Lmao @ “pimped an entire city”.
No- Mayor Dennis Archer was responsible for the casinos. The first ones opened in 1999. Kwame was elected in 2002.

There are several different species of them. It doesn’t matter, both dogs and cats can be infected. It’s just that cat fleas are the most common in dogs and cats.

My patient had to have been infected for months, because I know female fleas can produce up to 2,000 eggs in a 4 month life span. So like, at any given time, about 1% of the flea population is composed of adult fleas, while 99% remain in the invisible egg, larval, and pupal stages. So she was loaded with them based on that. That’s what I mean by loaded. It was pretty bad.

Yes, Sentinel is great, because it not only controls fleas, but it also protects against heartworms, ascarids, hookworms, and whipworms.

Ohhh, I didn’t know the images need to be hosted on another website first. So, the way I posted my dog was I went online to a JPEG to PNG free converter and it worked temporarily, until I posted it again. Then, it seemed to stay.

Yes, that’s what I’m doing. I’m pasting the link in between [img] [/img]. But I swear, John, I remember going to google images, right clicking, copying, and then pasting. I must be going crazy, because I don’t ever recall using the [img] [/img] method until now. I believe you, it’s just that the other way is how I remember posting images on here way back when.
