Short of putting pressure on the network through its owned on air stations, or fairly dramatically changing the Communications Act, there's not much he can do legally. That would probably not pass Constitutional muster.
For better or worse, that's what Freedom of the Press is all about. The Founding Fathers apparantely thought it to be important.
