Man accused of duping Harvard pleads not guilty

WOBURN, Mass. - A Delaware man accused of fabricating a perfect record of academic achievement to get into Harvard University has pleaded not guilty to 20 counts against him.

Adam Wheeler of Milton, Del., was ordered held on $5,000 bail Tuesday. He has been accused of larceny and identity fraud, among other charges.

If he makes bail, he must stay away from Harvard, surrender his passport and remain in Massachusetts.

You'd think that with such a competitive admissions process, they'd be able to spot fake documents and stuff.
