A Story of Perseverance and love for Omega.
Among the men who were initiated into Omega Psi Phi through Delta Gamma Chapter at Fayetteville State University (NC) in their Spring 2011 line was 44-year-old Darnell "P-Nut" Pope. Bro. Pope first pledged Omega via Delta Gamma Chapter 23 years ago but was forced to withdraw from school due to circumstances beyond his control. Desiring to complete his higher education and receive his college degree after two decades, his desire for Omega had not waned, and he joined the ranks of men young enough to be his sons on their journey to Omega, which he fulfilled. May God bless him on his journey in Omega and in life!
